Introduction for Energy Storage System

The energy storage system is configured as 5.015 MWh and adopts a
container-integrated design. It is suitable for multiple application scenarios,
including large-scale energy storage power stations, peak shaving and valley filling,
as well as peak shaving and frequency regulation.

The battery capacity is 5.015 MWh. The battery is connected to the
high-voltage switch box via cable, and then to the combiner cabinet inside the container.

Battery Management System (BMS)

The energy storage system is equipped with a comprehensive BMS that adopts a
three-level management architecture with three-level software protection
(module level, battery-cluster level, and battery-stack level). It provides full control,
management, and protection of the battery system to ensure safe and stable operation.

Thermal Management System

The entire thermal management system uses liquid cooling to control battery
temperature. An integrated liquid-cooled unit and well-designed piping maintain effective
cell-core temperatures so the ESS operates within an optimal range, extending service life
and improving safety and reliability.

Fire Fighting System

The battery electrical cabinet is equipped with fire-fighting equipment composed of a
perfluorohexanone (PERFLUORO-2-METHYL-3-PENTANONE) extinguishing device.
Battery packs are partitioned with fire barriers, and an alarm is installed outside the cabin.

Safety Precautions

  • Operate only by professional electrical personnel or trained and qualified technicians.
  • Ensure the high-voltage power switch is disconnected during installation.
  • Check all materials before installation; do not install if items are missing or damaged.
  • Wear insulated gloves; wrap metal tools with insulation tape before use.
  • Never touch both positive and negative terminals of the battery pack simultaneously.
  • Non-professionals must not disassemble module enclosures or touch internal PCBs.
  • Do not modify or use this system on other projects without the manufacturer’s approval.

Safe Use Guide

  • Provide safeguards to ensure a safe and reliable operating environment for the battery system.
  • Do not exceed rated power. Keep the system away from fire, heat sources, and water.
  • If the battery leaks or emits an odor, stop using immediately and notify responsible personnel.
  • Perform a full charge/discharge test every six months at 0.5C and keep detailed records.
  • After long-term storage, perform a safety check before operation to avoid issues from loose connections, condensation, corrosion, or mold.
